Generations upon generations have encouraged handicraft, out of need, out of thrift, and even out of economic necessity. My interdisciplinary explorations become reminders of the channels through which we acquire knowledge and behaviors. This work is guided by the traditional ideas of women as preservers — who restore all that is broken or forgotten.
